Kola Aleksandra Sliwinska

Kola Aleksandra Sliwinska is an independent art curator, collection manager, and writer who has collaborated with various institutions such as the Polish Cultural Institute in London, Fiorucci Art Trust, Tate Modern, Gasworks and Contemporary Art Society in London, to name just a few. Currently, she works with Valeria Napoleone’s collection in London and New York.

Her research focuses on the intersection of sex work, domestic work, and art. Through artistic practices, she examines these themes and the associated cultural stigma, delving into precarious economies and power dynamics. Kola is committed to fostering social and community engagement, seeking non-institutional forms of ‚being together‘ in response to social crises. She is currently working on her dissertation in the Visual Cultures department at Goldsmiths, University of London.
