City Layers contributed to the discourse on co-design and urban living at Responsive Cities 2023, an international symposium on the future of cities organized by the Advanced Architecture Group of the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC). This biennial event centers on exploring Collective Intelligence Design as a means to create more adaptive and participatory urban environments.

The 2023 symposium took place within the Green Skills for Cities project, a collaborative initiative co-funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ Programme and developed by leading European institutions including IAAC (Spain), Vienna University of Economics and Business (Austria), University of Genoa (Italy), and the European Association for Local Democracy (France).
