Art as Architectural Concept

Core course of the modular programme ‘Visual Culture’. Reception and interpretation of architecture along examples of art, literature, film, photography and music. Comparison of effects and methods of the different languages in relation to architecture in order to better understand relevant planning.

IM SPIEL-RAUM DER NICHT-ORTE

Anhand verschiedener Schauplätze aus der Filmkunst werden – mit Hilfe von zahlreichen Bildern und Bilderserien aus verschiedenen Filmen – jene Bereiche, die Marc Augé mit dem Begriff Nicht-Orte bezeichnet hat, thematisiert und ihre architekturtheoretische Bedeutung reflektiert.
