Künstlerisches Projekt Visuelle Kultur 2024

The Department of Visual Culture is pleased to share the outcomes of the final exhibition of the Artistic Project.

In CITYVERSE – A SPECULATIVE UTOPIA UNDER DATAVEILLANCE, the students critically engaged with the new realities of platform urbanism, reflecting on how data technologies reshape urban life and influence the design of urban spaces. The resulting virtual prototypes and environments were presented in a collective exhibition held on Thursday, 27 June 2024, from 14:00 to 18:00.

Through innovative use of 3D scanning, animation, sound composition, computer simulations, and interactive programming, the students visualized their concepts. The exhibition also provided an opportunity for public discussion on new urban morphologies, using a visual language based on spatial patterns.
