Anna RESCH

ANNA RESCH is the founder and managing director of Konnektom, a platform for cultural management, curation, and communication that realizes a wide range of projects in the fields of art, music and architecture. She is currently coordinating the Creative Europe project ARCH-E with Sebastian Jobst on behalf of the Federal Chamber of Architects and Chartered Engineering Consultants (BKZT), is responsible for the protocol of the Viennale, and directs the experimental film festival art+film+vienna.

She studied art history at the University of Vienna and international business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and at Sabanci Üniversitesi Istanbul. She attended supplementary programs at the Institute for Cultural Management at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, the Sibelius Academy Helsinki, Fudan University Shanghai, and Beijing University. During her studies, she gained experience in managing and implementing large-scale projects within the international student organization AIESEC. Before founding Konnektom, she was responsible for communications for the Austria-wide Architekturtage, Hermann Nitsch, the Theater Nestroyhof Hamakom, and many other exciting institutions and stakeholders as part of her work at art:phalanx. Together with Sebastian Jobst, she developed the concept for the visionary architecture award Superscape, whose realization she oversaw in its first two editions. She was also part of the editorial team of KONstruktiv, the magazine of the BKZT (2012-2014), helped organize the “hinderhof kontrovers” discussion series, and was involved in the realization of the two publications for the anniversary of the InterContinental Vienna.
