Urban Observations 2023 invited citizens to slow down and take a closer look at the spaces they move through every day. Through informal city walks and open-ended contributions, participants shared their impressions, ideas, and concerns about urban life—capturing what often goes unnoticed in the built environment.
Using a simple set of tools—comments, tags, photos, and suggestions—people recorded their experiences of the city and reflected on how it might change for the better. These observations were brought together on an interactive platform, where individual insights formed a collective view of urban spaces from multiple perspectives.
The project emphasized listening to local knowledge and everyday encounters, making room for a more inclusive and grounded conversation about the future of our cities.
Urban Observations 2023 was a step toward rethinking how change can happen—not only through policy or design, but through attention, curiosity, and participation.
